Do any of these situations sound like you?

If you are someone who helps others, I'm guessing one or more of these scenarios may sound all too familiar:

  • Your life wouldn't feel complete if you didn’t have both a career and a family, but too often it feels overwhelming.

It constantly seems as though one aspect of your life is being neglected while the other whines and complains about needing more from you. And all you want to do is shut the door and take a long, hot bath – for about a week!

  • You cannot remember the last time you took an hour to simply sit and enjoy a cup of tea with a friend.

The cell phone rings or your Blackberry buzzes -- time seems to be accelerating and contracting at the same time. Your ability to carve out some precious moments for joyful connection, to friends, family, and especially yourself, seems to be diminishing.

  • Your job is OK, your kids are doing fine, and your relationship is comfortably humming along, yet there is a sense that you're not really connected to any of it...

...at least, not in the contented, settled way that you always imagined this stage of life would bring. Everything seems to be in place, but inside you feel restless and have a vague sense of yearning for something more.

  • You're tired of feeling worn out and depleted.

You long for a sense of spaciousness and grace that can coexist with your busy life – not something that only comes after a long vacation or occasional retreat that takes you out of the world for a while. Those experiences are important and do feed you, but you want something more sustaining for the day-to-day challenges.

  • You are aware of a spiritual hunger calling from deep within, and feel attracted to those who are on a specific path, yet don't feel drawn to any particular community or practice.

Perhaps you've had some amazing spiritual experiences, but feel unclear about how to discern your best choices from the excess of unorthodox spiritual teachings available today. You want something that feels rich and authentic, without having to become either a faithful follower or a spiritual dilettante.

  • You love helping, you love giving, and you are ready to create more spaciousness and balance in your life.

You know that so much more is possible, and that now is the time to begin charting a new course

My approach works well for people who are:

  • In healing or helping professions
  • Always making themselves available for others at their own expense
  • Interested in deeper self-knowledge
  • Open to learning new ways to respond when issues arise

And you will gain the most from it if you are:

  • Aware that the deepest healing never comes from a “quick fix”
  • Willing to explore the way all levels of your being are interrelated
  • Desiring a more profound and consistent connection with the Source of Life
  • Open to learning new things about yourself
  • Willing to be patient with yourself and maintain a sense of humor

Wondering how this all works? Please let me share my approach with you.

Sharon has been my massage therapist for over five years, and her help has been immeasurable.

When I hurt my back with two slipped discs, she made it possible for me to walk without pain. When I had a rotator cuff tear in my shoulder, she gave me relief from the pain and speeded up my healing.

She uses Reiki and its wonderful healing warmth – she was even able to help my mom have total relief from pain as she was in the end stages of liver cancer.

I can't say enough about Sharon's talent and gift as a healer – God bless her!
